TECHNERA CONTEST 2024

Brazilian artist based in São Paulo, Barbara Dunkel began her journey in electronic music by exploring sonorities like EBM and darkwave but soon incorporated other genres such as hard techno and psytrance, which are now central to her musical expression. A natural storyteller, her sets blend darkness and energy, creating a perfect contrast and balance between industrial hard techno and psytrance with touches of acid. She has performed at major clubs in São Paulo, such as D-Edge, and at prominent independent parties in the scene, like Underdivision, Vortex 323, Volt, and Techno Pride. She has shared the decks with significant artists from both the national and international scenes, including Cassie Raptor. Currently, she is a resident of the label party @volt.techno and the co-founder/resident of the @tarjapretafesta project.
