Whispers During Wartime

I am blessed to have a river that flows behind our home.  Sometimes the river is raging, sometimes it flows gently.  But it never disappoints.  The sounds, textures, ripples, patterns, colors and reflections tell a story of life, work, play and the earth's creation. Forces so greater than me, that all I can imagine as I sit at the edge while wiggling my toes in the cold clear water, did I forget to turn off the stove?  Thank you for listening!

Motivation

The acoustic idea I presented to Mike to evolve was based on the idea of creating a Beatles meets The Doors vibe.
Magic Mike worked his wonderful skill ranges including his great harmonies and invited Axel on board to give it the Doorsey Hammond/Wurlitzer sound.
A massive thanks for their incredible contributions and for being just really good people. 
The second one from me & Mike on This Sound Society project.
Hopefully more planned for the future but I think Mike is far to popular as everyone wants a piece of him. The word prolific can’t even keep up with him !
His turn out of songs is truly remarkable so if you haven’t already listened to his music go and check him out under Mike Fox along with Axel Menningen. 
I hope you like it may be a bit of a grower for some but it’s just a fun quirky pop tune.

Little Bird Sing

A couple of new songs. First one was written in September there, the other one in October. All parts written, recorded, performed and mixed by Josh Healy.

Both tracks home recorded to 4 track cassette tape using a tascam portastudio 7, with some digital overdubs added later to both tracks.

Dear friends, this is a remade version of an old song. And sorry - had some problems with the sound. I had to change it at once! Sorry, but I am far from a brilliant sound engineer!!
A family of squirrels lived under our roof tiles for several years. One day the mother climbed down with several baby squirrels and started feeding them. She didn't care that I was filming them, nor that she was being looked at by a very interested white Samoyed dog only a meter away, but behind a window pane!
