It was an honor to get to Freestyle w/Prodigy of Mobb Deep (RIP). This was a tape w/some freestyles we did in his grandmother's basement in Hempstead, L.I. It was Prodigy, Barbecue & G.A. Banx freestyling. Cal was there and also Twin. We were saying different freestyles & verses in a cipher. We wondered why Prodigy kept saying the same verse. The verse ended up being the legendary verse from Eye for a Eye! Before it was recorded w/Nas. Prodigy also made beats and this is one of his beats. He recorded it & gave me a copy. It was at the end of my tape & you'll hear that. Salute!
