Novakk settles down in Surrrealism with "2many Snakes EP".

Opening the chest of virtuosities and with the groove between his eyebrows, he pulls out of the hat a majestic work based on 2 tracks of magnificent versatility. Angelov shows off his talent by putting the finishing touch with an exquisite remix.

"2many Snakes" breaks through like a steamroller. An imposing bass drum that sets the pace along with dynamic pads and vocals that keep you on your toes throughout the track. From the studio to your brain cells. Best consumed on the dancefloor.

"Goliath" is that freshly polished jewel that shines in the sunlight. Elegance and warm elements for a cult work. The melody captivates you from the first note and carries you through the whole story. A nineties vocal leads you to the climax.

Angelov is the special guest of the show. An inexhaustible source of resources and versatility, you always expect the best from him and he never disappoints. A rougher, more aggressive interpretation of 2many Snakes. Strong rhythms and melodies that grab your attention right from the start.

This spring saw seasoned XYZ contributor Koelle team up with multi-instrumentalist Reza Safinia on Reverie, a two-sided offering which saw the union of electronic tones and orchestral influences into a dance floor affair. As the fall arrives to Montréal, we're pleased to present our biggest remix compilation to date. 6 artists from the broad melodic house & techno spectrum will offer their versions of the tracks over the weeks to come. The second volume of the Reverie remixes showcases talent all the way from Germany to Brazil, with the mandatory stopover through the label's home city of Montréal.

To round up the pack, we're pleased to welcome two of the most exciting Brazilian producers of the moment. Through waves crashing and aquatic textures, BLANCAh & Mariz offer their remix of ‘Reverie', surely inspired by their close ties to the legendary Warung Beach Club. The dialogue between arp and lead synth amplifies Reza Safinia's soothing voice as the tight drums carry us through the storm.

"Hypochondria" is the beginning of this frenetic journey. Presenting their credentials with a powerful rhythm from which emanate euphoric melodies that lead you to a sensory and auditory explosion. Hold on where you can, there are curves ahead.

"Anticipate a Problem" looks like the candy you never want to run out. Performed with all 5 senses focused on the raver and the dancefloor. Imposing groove that shakes every one of your neurons to trigger the dance order. Are you ready?

"Pitsidia" has the characteristics of an elegant and energetic track. Chords and melodies that intertwine to guide us to a state of maximum exaltation. Showing off their skills and putting all the meat on the grill. Enjoy the take-off.

"Selective Exposure" takes you underground from the first beat. Dark sounds and mystery stimuli to take us deep into our soul. Eclectic style to end with a trip to the underworld. Not for the faint of mind. Do you get the signals?

Cover by Raquel Peña. For this special release the artist captures in a surreal way the many feelings and sensations of a hypochondriac. Symptoms of constant fear and worry that lead to mental and physical exhaustion.
