Demo of an Ableton Sampler Rack with a palm muted piano library I recorded myself, I think it turned out pretty neat. All of the ambience is natural reverb from the sustain pedal down layer, no additional reverb added.

This sample library is now featured as an open source, free to download and use library over at https://www.pianobook.co.uk/library/palm-muted-upright , as part of the community project "Pianobook" by Christian Henson, co-founder of Spitfire Audio.

A cold and desolate arrangement made from improvisations on piano (a blend of my own 'Palm Muted Upright' and Christian Henson's 'Triple Felt' piano libraries) and drones and textures made from frozen reverb tails and displaced recorded reverb tracks.
