For our 38th release we're happy to present formerly unreleased studio material from 1996, that we found hidden deep in Jan's and Alex’s vaults. The four dubbed-out tunes were part of a row of session recordings, done by the guys in autumn that year. They share a free minimal spirit and were recorded with a limited and beautiful sounding analog setup in a small room in a Berlin backyard.
 
The uptempo “Sinter” is a mesmerising, puristic Electro piece, the never-ending “Karst” more on the Techno side, featuring wild, flanged percussions and an extremely driving baseline. “Stalaktit" & “Stalagmit”, both slower, are nicely oblique, industrial, obscure but sometimes almost funky analog jams.

After a long break we resume guest sessions from residents, friends and close in spirit musicians and DJs, the first candidate in the new year is of course the representative of the third vinyl compilation SNGWAX003, the legend of house music from south america - @djmanuelsahagun. 

His 'What You Gave' tun is an intensely deep house with strong characters, firm bass and a rolling bassline, all highlighting the producer's style in his production.

Manuel is considered one of the most relevant artists in Argentina's house music scene. Throughout his career he has earned the respect of several DJ generations and producers, and has brought his music to world citites known for their electronic music scene. Performing in clubs such as D-Edge (Sao Paulo), Housepitality (San Francisco), Rotofest (Ecuador), TBA Brooklyn (Nueva York), Tresor (Berlin), EGG (Londres), Secret Room (Budapest), Rockeril (Belgium), Pachá (Buenos Aires), Club 69 Buenos Aires, etc.

His extensive discograpahy both in vinyl and digital connects him to labels like Freerange, Blind Vision, Lazy Days, Salted, Get Physical, Armada Music, Stil Von Talent, to name a few; His music has received support from names like Danny Tenaglia, Laurent Garnier, Doc Martin, Stacey Pullen, DJ Sneak, Miguel Migs, Mark Farina, Slam, Inland Knights, James Zabiela, DJ T, Art Department, La Fleur, Claptone, Adana
