Just under two months from my first steps with Khemic - here is my third release. I'm so grateful for the fact that I have so much time to invest in this project right now, and I have been practicing, learning and working on new material every day.

I'm really beginning to consciously shape my sound and this is the first electronic track I have written with lyrics. It was so much fun to write and record.

"counterCulture" is my tip of the hat to Fringe values - to the seedy underbelly of society for whom which creativity is paramount. It is a fat middle finger in the face of backwards values and self-centred "leaders". Here's my 2 cents.

To all those marching to the beat of their own drum: I salute you.

counterCulture

Early bird gets the worm. When it's still too dark for vultures to see, you'll find us there. In the small hours, running down another sunrise. That's where we'll be.

Man of God, man of guns, sworn to raise his Himalayan Gold: sweat, blood and soil.
And when the circle calls him to lay down his life... he will oblige.

"Keep-The-Faith", born and bred, she's got the number of her latest custom etched in her hand, and over Moonshine she'll tell you what your bones are worth... Then count to Ten.

I'll sleep forever in death: When my body's done and burried under, that's when I'll rest. Bathed in moonlight, seeing in another soltice, eternal year.

So when the light's go out, I'll be standing in the valley, with a Chelsea smile, a pack of wolves and a candle burning slowly at both ends... Waiting for the rain to come.

Vegans With Firearms

It's been almost 6 months to the day that I began writing electronic music. I have learned so much in the past half a year and I am proud to present my latest.

Having been a touring member of the Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers for almost 6 years, I have always wanted to experiment with adding taiko drums into my own personal writing and I feel I have realised that goal with this track. It was an absolute joy to produce and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

It is a celebration and a recognition of the idea that while someone may no longer be here in body, they will be forever with us in who we are, who we become, and the legacy in the lessons they leave for us.
