Our first foray into actually scoring a film! This was my take on the main theme for a short video called "Cane." The main character wakes up from a dream about his childhood accident which left him crippled, and goes about getting ready for his day.

The final recording session of the year! This is my first of two cues for the SFI short film "Unsound Mind," directed by Taylor Johnson. The main character is being plagued by a hallucinatory jazz singer and homeless man, and screams the title line before doing a quick march across the street to try to escape. Short work for percussion ensemble and organ (adapted from percussion and brass choir version). I literally used the constellation Cassiopeia to generate melodic material - I just ran a staff through the stars. Live recording from my senior recital.
