Hard Disco Mix

Here's a little taster of what we've been playing down at our Ferdydurke residence.  We hope you enjoy!

BKD CBD MIX

We were delighted to be asked to remix Melbourne's dark pop band Howlite. Turing their dreamy and deep 'Gothic Romance' from a 3/4 hyper ballad, into a 4/4 club friendly groove was a challenge we relished! 

Bare Knuckle Disco bundled the band into a time machine and took them to 80's New York for the 'Death Disco Dub'. Wonky disco breaks combine with deep bass that can be heard thumping through the downtown art gallery walls and through Bronx tenement doors. 

Next it was off to 90's UK, where 808's combine with raw breakbeats to make you flick your pony tail and move your kickers, as the 'Dark Crystal Shoegaze Version' takes you from warehouse to rave via your boxy VW golf's tape deck.
