“Ernstig is Dutch for severe/serious/grave. The vocal in Ernstig is from a tragic scene of One Punch Man where the hero Mumen Rider takes his last stand against a villain. He’s a weak hero, who always gets beaten in one punch no matter how hard he tries. Yet he is incredibly determined, with the desire to do good, and never backs down, even at the cost of his own life. I have only watched a little of the show but this really kept hanging in my mind for days, and I wanted to make it the theme of a song. In 2013, two childhood friends from Massachusetts named Matt and Willie decided to team up and pursue their dreams in the world of music. 

BARELY ALIVE quickly stormed the dubstep scene and established themselves as some of the top producers in the game, touring the world and releasing hundreds of retro-infused bangers. 

After mastering their craft as sound engineers, they turned to the world of technology, creating a robot named "WATT." This animatronic surrogate is able to produce music and play shows at an extraordinary rate the likes of which have never been seen.
