Akot’s  EP  “Digital Space Market”  is there first release for 2014. This ep is influenced by a hindu ritual  called "Kathak-Darbari" which is a prayer that calls the gods down to dance with us humans.

the gods are calling, will you answer?

 The main track of the EP "Digital Space Market" is based on an Hindu mantra, that hooks you intro the track. The rhythm section has a moroccan style bass-line and percussion, that are riding a driving psy-trance beat.  The heart & soul  of the track is a killer didgeridoo groove, performed by Gabi Kimchi, one of the leading Didgeridoo players in Israel , which adds an hypnotic and tribal vibe to the track.The Middle-Eastern influence comes from a Guitar Solo,  performed by Shiko Berkovize, one of the busiest  musicians in the Israeli. rock scene,  which has an old-School "Mizrahit" vibe to it. (Mizrahit is a very popular genre in Israel,  similar to Greek folk music).
Steven Angel, the producer behind akot, successfully combined East and West, electronic production with acoustic instruments in his own unique style that will not only touch the crowds heart & soul, but make them bounce’ as well!
