@Barnee-kato has successfully navigated Eora/ Sydney's scene for a very long time and slips between genre's seamlessly. He has a well practiced ear for what is relevant and puts it into practice with ease.
DJ now come producer, he is one half of @BarneyInTheTunnel with @Tunnelsigns and has released Ep's under his own label @DOEDEE and @CashminusMusic.

Dreams of the Teepee Forest

I've always hated describing the music I dj so I recently decided to invent my own names for it ergo Hugno is fun euphoric techno.
This mix is heavily stacked with breakbeats. Breakbeats got me into dance music originally and opened my world up to house and techno but lately I've been inspired to going back to the original source hearing the sound creeping back in to more modern cutting edge music.

"From The Lockout Zone" is a mix of records that stood out to me in the wake of the Sydney lockouts and their devastation of our cities nightlife. I made it a couple of months ago but it didn't seem like the right time to put it into the world until the recent farcical Callinan enquiry findings we're handed down and alongside the closure of Fabric in the UK. One particular recommendation of the Callinan report is that the definition of live music shouldn't include DJ's which is a very backwards view considering the landscape of modern music. The tracks hopefully speak for themselves in protest of our backwards government and these draconian laws but also offer escape, joy and hope for better times in the future.
