Once everyone's locked in to the mosh and you're feeling comfortable on stage there's a back and forth of energy and excitement that builds and climaxes multiple times throughout the night - there's nothing that can replace that adrenaline rush.

With states rolling back limits and schooners beginning to flow, we couldn't pick a better time to be joined by school of Barney Cools alumni and Sydney based drummer and producer Commandeur for a punchy poolside mix to set the tone as we slowly but surely emerge from our isolation hibernation. 

We'd describe Tim as probably our most humble mate in the music biz. With 14 years at the forefront of the global music scene since launching his career in Aria-award winning band Operator Please (yep, that song about ping pong), Tim has performed alongside the likes of PNAU, Tkay Maidza, Dua Lipa and consequently done a few hot laps around the festival circuit.

Now taking the solo route, Commandeur has been getting busy throughout isolation in the studio and most recently released his brand new tune 'Feel The Love' featuring KLP, streaming now wherever you reel your tunas.

We’re standing with our Melburnian mates and dropping a brand new Cabin Fever Mixtape with a local cult hero to help lessen the blow as our mates revert back into their isolation hibernation. 

This week we’re joined by Melbourne-based house artist and label curator Torren Foot for a thumping mix of bass-driven house tracks. Since starting his grind onto the Melbourne club scene almost a decade ago, he’s emerged as one of the latest locals to hit the big-time with his club anthem More Life topping the global overall Beatport charts.

This pesky pandemic business got you in need of a pick me up? We've brought our our favourite LA-based Australian synth-poppers and panty droppers @miamihorror DJs to take you on a journey to the epicentre of poolside pleasure.

This week we're joined by the man behind the mammoth musical force Mr Benjamin Plant aka the bands producer, synth-lord and bass guitar-slapper to bring their signature baselines and funk to your next lounge-room boogie. 

Since founding the band out of a love of Roland keyboards and French-house, Miami Horror have gone onto become a prominent fixture within the Australian pop-dance scene with nostalgic classics like Sometimes and Real Slow soundtracking some of our fondest summer shenanigans.

Not many know life in lockdown like our mates in Melbourne. After being stitched-up with the strictest of curfews and restrictions over the last 7 months... we've invited local favourites Northeast Party House to unleash some steam on our Cabin Fever series with the ultimate kick-on mixtape.

We like to think we've got a lot in common with the six homies from Northeast Party House who are no strangers to a bloody good time. The Melbourne band was born out of a need to capture those irreplaceable vibes of adolescent debauchery and the pure freedom that comes when age is just a number.

Since their inception 10 years ago, they've run their fair share of hot-laps around the festival circuit and blessed us with bangers like Calypso Beach, their iconic cover of Redbone and most recently their third ARIA-nominated album Shelf Life (listen here). 

The band's production wizard and synth-maestro Sean Kenihan jumped on the CDJs to pull together a thumping mix on behalf of the lads available now via SoundCloud. We caught up with him to life in lockdown and what else has been happening in their world... P.S, they love lasers.
