Bar of 2 Productions is led by Peter Bell and David Mash, who produce high quality professional music using modern music production tools and techniques. 

Between them, Peter and David have had close to 100 years of experience in the world of professional music, as performers, composers, arrangers, producers, and as educators. They met when they were both faculty members at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. In 1983 they started Musitech Productions, and produced music for industrials as well as library music. Mash had to leave the company as he became more deeply involved at Berklee when he started the Music Synthesis Department (now known as Electronic Production and Design), and Peter continued on as BellMusic, and became wildly successful in the commercial music industry.

Reunited in 2009, their first joint production was Mash's double-CD set "Decades, released in 2010. After Mash retired from his job as Senior Vice President of Berklee in 2017, the pair produced two more albums of Mash's works, "Seasons," released in 2017, and "Chapters," released in 2018. In 2018, they also began work on an album for Peter called, "Just Sayin'," released in Fall 2021, as well as several other projects. This led to the birth of Bar Of 2 Productions in 2018. Since our launch in 2018, we have released 10 albums!
