He can be seen playing in various clubs and spaces in New York such as Magick City, Good Room, Public Records, and can be heard regularly on The Lot Radio. We were able to meet up with him during our trip to New York and got the opportunity to ask a few questions about his musical roots, influences, and DJ’ing.

For us, Norm is the ultimate definition of a selector, and many in the community will agree. Needless to say, we were incredibly excited when he joined TNP as a resident. His new show “Faking Jazz Together” is an excellent addition to his other projects, which include(d) Memorabilia, Bayetë and Native Dance.

Norm’s ability to unearth the warmest, sweetest and deepest sounds is unprecedented. The first installment of his residency stole our hearts: a jaw dropping, incredible selection of lush music that we didn’t know we needed to hear. We recommend you to listen to this one eyes closed, shoes off, laying in the sun.

This is my fantasized outtake of what could have been a local fusion jazz program back then. It features biting AOR, hazy Chanson, fierce Boogie, Japanese Bossa impersonation and wistful Italian score.”
