For all I know they might be right concerning all the rest
As I make only one for every thirty in the west
But mine are counted among the very best
I’m an artist who remains anonymous

Well I wonder what the world be like in a hundred years from today
And I wonder what the world will be like when we are gone
When we are all gone to dust and clay

Drivers on the A roads staring from their screens
And wondering how in the blazes it was done
I’m just like a public servant I rouse them from their dreams
And I give them little glimpses of the unknown
Keep your London galleries and your Turner prize
They’re as relevant as Martians in the English countryside
Leave the morning sun that’s now upon the rise
Shining down on a circle in the corn
