I wrote the lyrics first in 2017 to mark the 50th anniversary of the partial legalization of homosexual acts between men. in 2021 I began writing the melody, I played a g chord on my acoustic guitar and sang these words. 'Its a boy meets girl world. Its in the movies we see. These days they're night clubs like heaven. There were no gay clubs around in 1967. Not that I'm aware. The year we were legal. I was not there. We want an apology, its only fair. For all those men who were arrested not just here but everywhere'....

Don't call it crocodile tears. It’s those contradictions I've had for years and years. Too honest for my own good. I lied sometimes I think you should. I'm failing I can't accept it. I resent it. I resent it. It would be so marvellous to be around. To the sound. It would be so wonderful to be together. Whenever. I'm so tired. So very tired. My determination is admired. There's no time. A man comes to realize that money doesn't necessarily make you happy. As long as you have love, that is all you really need.

I can't share you with another. I wont be someone else's lover. Envy is feeling I cannot hide. I could achieve more if I really tried. You help the homeless and the needy. That's how it is in theory. You get a nice house and a garden too. I envy your car and your swimming pool. Sit around doing nothing all day. Crossword puzzles and Doris Day. I could do something crazy and be led astray. Rob a bank like in the movie. Wouldn't that be groovy. Envy is a feeling I cannot deny. Even though I try. Working hard to try and get more. More than the neighbours next door. I use to be envious. Not any more. I have so much to be grateful for. I may not be wealthy. At least I'm healthy. I have someone who cares for me. What more do I really need. Have you got the money I lent you. Have you got my DVD's. If I won the lottery. I would take you on the orient express. Working hard is the best way to success.

Envy,  a story about realizing that money doesn't necessarily make you happy.

My previous Cd's are. In The Shade, 2009 and Where The Heart Is,
2010. Produced and recorded by Denis Gajetic. Folk Pop with influences in Country, Blues and Alternative music. They're mostly autobiographical, though I do sometimes add some fiction to give the songs more drama. The lyrics usually come first. I like the meaning and the emotion of the words to direct the melody. 
My music has been featured in TV shows in America. Radio plays in Wales, Scotland and Ireland. I continue to write new music.
