Originally baaed in an idea I had about 25 years ago; after being lucky enough to see John Carpenter play live it seemed like the idea would be a great fit for an atmospheric and moody synth-fest.

"Video Killed the Radio Star" is a song written by Trevor Horn, Geoff Downes and Bruce Woolley in 1978. It was first recorded by Bruce Woolley and The Camera Club (with Thomas Dolby on keyboards) for their album English Garden,   

Released in 1979 Video Killed The Radio Star got to number 1 in the UK, but only achieved Number 40 in the US. 

I’ve always loved this song so here’s my tale; most of the female backing vocals are taken from the original recording.
