The Solid State Mix Tape Vol 16 - Sean Inside Out

WiggleCat Records 2nd release. We see Jamie Tennant & Ant Hornsby come to together and produce and super Hard House track called Oblivion. They both liked the Morgan Freeman sentence so this was the start of this track. Jamie said to me “ It all started with The Vocal. “We are an “Effects Team” Knowing each other for over 20 years working together on different projects was a big helper to produce this track. Hard house  with new sounds trying to have a change in the prog of whats out there today! We hope you like it.  We Did!

Carl Cox is pretty much the embodiment of the 'superstar dj'.

One interesting thing about Carl Cox, and something that is often forgotten, is that back in the early 90's he was one of the biggest names in the UK hardcore rave scene, and he fucking rocked at it. In a single set you could hear anything from British breakbeat hardcore to Dutch gabber, with Scottish bouncy techno, hard American acid and European hard trance all thrown in his trademark three-deck blender. 

Since he was so awesome, and so unique in many ways, I wanted my latest mix to be a tribute to what he was doing in his rave heyday - I wanted to boil down two years worth of his musical selections into a single mix, with nice and crisp audio quality and no shitty mc's. To do so, I built a database of 25 tracklistings from 1993/1994 and pulled together a tracklisting of 45 tunes that captures all of the elements of the Carl Cox rave experience. 

I am really happy with this mix, and I hope you enjoy it too!
