This is the recording of my live set at @ShikaShikacollective 's London Showcase alongside History of Colour and @dj-Yeahman, it was a sweet night full of colourful tunes ❤

Despite the electricity in the club cut half way through my set for a couple of minutes I managed to go back and fix the recording pretty easily so here it is!
Over an hour of a live, semi improvised performance where I resample old tracks of mine creating new live versions and occasionally jam with my synthesiser.

Ein weiter Blick für große Räume, gefärbt von klarer Luft und wachem Geist: Liebesgrüße aus Schweden. @Hosini knüpft an sein Release an und schafft Bildwelten, die von Natur und Umgebung spürbar geprägt sind. Ein Set wie Skandinavien selbst. Eine Stunde nur aus eigener Feder.

All is freezing.

White. Grey and white. Grey and white and cold.
Everything is shining bright, as far as the eye can see. 
And where it can’t, everything still is as white as can be.

You turn around to remember where you came from, but your footsteps have long faded in this endless frozen desert. But instead of worrying your thoughts become as light as the snowflakes that keep dancing around your nose and intuitively you join this continuing movement that is fueled by the wind. 

There is nowhere you need to be. There is nowhere you would rather be.
And as you sway and swirl you feel a growing buoyancy that takes you up. 
Up where it all comes into being. And everything around you is white and grey.

And you’re not freezing anymore.

Drip. ... Drop.

The ice may be melting, but what is revealed remains frozen.
Ever so slowly the world takes its time to warm up, yet every ray of sunlight does its part to breathe life back into it. 

Finally, a lasting moment. Seconds become minutes, become hours.
The continuous drip forms a beat that turns into a room. Arutani is sitting at the center of it, painting with sounds, calmly but focussed.

His image is changing as the world is turning, at times abstract, at times picturesque, but somehow always familiar. 

Take your time. Take a breath. Take each moment as it arrives.

So this is how this century's roaring 20s start.

A virus is keeping the whole world in check. Daily life is restricted to the bare minimum, nightlife doesn't happen at all. The rich become even richer and more people than ever become poor because of losing their source of income. On this note: Millions of artists, musicians, DJs and others alike are not only unable to do their jobs, but also have to find new ways of expressing themselves.

With UNWANTED, Drosssel's podcast host Bollek is giving some of them a stage to reflect upon their life in lockdown and speak for the greater whole, that's left unheard and feels unwanted in these times, when it's actually the virus that nobody wants.
