Great Stuff proudly presents volume six of it’s “To The Underground” series. The series features solely exclusive tracks. Hand picked with only the dance floor in mind. Tracks that will work crowds and elevate dj sets. 

To The Underground Vol.6 kick starts with JJ Mullor & Toni Carrillo’s “Yeah“. An uplifting tech house beast, that features a rolling bassline, which was constructed to take dance floors by storm. The smooth female vocal snippets and the tight groove programming are keeping things moving forward in a fun way.

Next up is Joe Mesmar’s dark “I Feel So Weak”. This prime time techno weapon consists of the perfect late night vibes: Pitched down vocals, a growling bassline and moody pads. 

Slovenia’s vibrant duo Alex Long & Stanny Abram take us on an expedition. Haunting melodic bits & pieces and a thick minimal techno groove are the foundation for “Heat”.

Crunchy sounds float throughout hight-tech percussions, while the rough pads provide the right amount of energy. Luigi Gori & Anis Hachemi also manage to playfully work stirring vocals into their slick arrangement. Their “Just One” composition is the perfect mood setter.

The striking feature of Alex Ranerro’s “Shelter” is it’s constantly morphing groove and enormous bassline that support the engaging vocal particles in the most stylish way. Monstrous drops and tight pads make this a peak-time sure shot!

Rodrik is completing this fine collection of quality electronic music. His “Trece” is all about the distinct and profound melody. It leads the way through a wide field of delay-filled sounds and temperamental snare builds.

Alex Long & Stanny Abram - Heat

So here we go for 2k17! Starting into a new year with a new release on Formatik Records, the label debut for the young French producer Matt Sassari, the man behind a hefty string of releases on labels like Time Has Changed Records, Bouq., Relief Records and many others since he stepped on the scene in 2012.

With the title track „Foorewer“ we see the Frenchman provide a sweet take on looped and filtered TechHouse with a twist, living up to the standards by catering a menu of muscular bass, cut and twisted vocal bits as well scarce percussive bits and highly modified sound abstractions taking their influences from the more minimalist side of the electronic club music spectrum – an amalgamation functional as functional can get and defo a tune that'll be heard on dancefloors all over the place on a regular within the next months.

The second tune on here is „Funq Zap“; another on point production by Matt Sassari that's taking TechHouse to slightly deeper late night level, keeps bodies moving due to the use of precise drum, decent wood percussions and haunting white noise layers whilst our braincells are spooked out by warped and alienated vocals dealing with struggles of everyday's life on the street. C'mon man!

After a strong Truesoul debut last September, Oscar L returns with a triple dose of groove. 

We got our first taste of Oscar L’s talents when he dropped the excellent ‘Konfusion’ EP in late summer 2018, a triple threat of ‘90s inspired house, punchy peak-time tech funk and the Spaniard’s skillful drum work highlighted throughout. As the weather starts to turn in our favour, it’s time to welcome him back to the clan for round two with his ‘Multiplayer’ EP.

The work kicks things off with ‘Monster Tube’, a deep roller that sees chunky percussion rub shoulders with dizzying arpeggiated melody lines. The EP’s title track follows, a cheeky vocal sample bringing verge and energy to the groovy bed of drums that sit beneath. ‘Primewire’ rounds out the triumvirate of tracks, working superbly as a functional and energetic DJ tool.

Rebūke - Sometimes [SleepLess Premiere]

This evening we have the absolute pleasure of premiering Irelands very own Rebūke! Following on from Rebūkes recent success with his intoxicating dance track “Rave” which has been doing the rounds and has been dropped by industry professionals such as house legends “Solardo” & “Alan Fitzpatrick”. 

“Sometimes” brings together a mix of tech elements with unique tribal undertones to create a lasting groove. The dark ominous stabs and pads provide us with satisfying energy filled build-ups to complement a hard hitting drop. A unique arrangement of elements to entice the ear.

Rebūkes brand new EP “Far Out” is due to drop on New York’s finest Tech House label “SOUP” on the 13th of July, “Far Out” has already premiered with “When We Dip” with a remix from house royalty, Harry Romero.

You may also know “Rebūke” as “Reuben Keeney” who is currently in the process of being signed to “deadmau5” label “mau5trap”, so although “Rebūke” is a new name to most he's already making all the right moves, this EP is sure to cement his status and light up a bright future!
