German techno producer Kevin de Vries remixes Trance Wax’s ‘Beul Un Latha’ for Anjunabeats.

A firm favourite on Tale Of Us’s Afterlife label, Kevin has been a regular fixture at Afterlife events across the globe. His previous releases have also landed on Drumcode Records, Cocoon Recordings and Stress Records. In 2019, his remix of Yotto, SØNIN and Laudic’s ‘Hear Me Out’ found a home on Anjunadeep.

Trance Wax is an alias of Belfast-born producer Garry McCartney, also known as Ejeca. Celebrating the music he fell in love with as a teenager, his Trance Wax project began as an anonymous series of vinyl-only bootlegs back in 2015. Garry’s lovingly crafted edits of classics from Yves Deyurter, BT and Mauro Picotto became peak-time anthems for Bicep, Nina Kraviz, Denis Sulta, The Blessed Madonna and Job Jobse to name a few. A BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix followed soon after.

Two Trance Wax edits of Above & Beyond’s much-loved OceanLab project were released on Anjunabeats in 2019, with the debut Trance Wax album following in November 2020.

As one of Holland’s hottest electronic music exports, Bart’s pristinely produced brand of techno finds that rare between forward-thinking creativity and dancefloor sensibility. It’s this unique amalgamation which has led to standout releases via Break New Soil, Cocoon, Drumcode, Tronic and Rejected, while also leading him to remix top international talents Adam Beyer, Christian Smith, Joris Voorn, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Nicole Moudaber. Also celebrated as a DJ, the Amsterdam resident often programs a bevy of exclusive music into his sets, perhaps none more famous than his much loved take on ‘Papua New Guinea’ by Future Sound of London. Released in 1991 by the iconic British duo and favoured by a broad selection of electronic music tastemakers, Bart took to reworking the track last year and it quickly became a highlight in his sets and those of his contemporaries, most notably Drumcode boss Adam Beyer. This is the winning remix of Beatport's Shameless competition.
Bryan Ferry made the individual stems of 'Shameless' available to download in late 2010. A few months later over 1000 remixes had been submitted so Beatport and Ferry's team starting filtering-out the good from bad.

Eventually a shortlist of 10 un-named files were played to Ferry, and he chose this one as the winner.
