Schubert's Waltz in A minor, as played by an electric guitar orchestra.  A side project from my orchestration class in college.

Schubert - Waltz in A minor

A piece I composed during college for 4 handed piano.  The name comes from War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells.  Horsell Common was the field where the narrator of the story encounters the Martian spaceship, and this piece was written to be the musical sound of the Martians sitting inside their ship, building their war machines, while the unsuspecting villagers look on in curiosity.

This is a piece of music composed to accompany an excerpt from a documentary my friend Witt was making on LARP'ing.  The clip was styled like an old silent film, so the accompanying track was created to simulate a live piano player accompanying the silent flicker of an old black and white movie.  Because of this it needed to be slightly out of tune, slightly off time, and slightly off-the-cuff.  Mostly composed and recorded in a single overnight session, which is why the instrumental performance is pretty god-awful.

This is from a video I put together for Randall Leddy's 32nd birthday. His wife Stacy was throwing him a surprise birthday party and I was heading down to DC for Thanksgiving, so in order to be there virtually, this A/V project was born.

Almost all the audio tracks are yours truly. Pat Hamm handled drum programming and mixing/mastering.

Needless to say, big thanks to Pat for his help. And big thanks to Randall for having a birthday.
