زبیگنیِف پرایزنِر آهنگساز لهستانی، در ایران شناخته شده‌است؛ مخصوصا با آهنگ‌هایی که برای فیلم سه‌گانه کیشلوفسکی ساخته. پرایزنر آهنگساز خودآموخته‌ای است که تاریخ و فلسفه خوانده و با شنیدن و تمرین، آهنگسازی کرده. فامیلش کوالسکی بوده و پس از ازدواج با اوا پرایزنر، نقاش لهستانی، نام خانوادگی همسرش را برای خودش انتخاب کرد و از آن زمان شُده زبیگنیف پرایزنر.

Every note is slower, more deliberate. As if the melody itself remembers the fire, the darkness, the grief  and chooses to keep playing anyway.

This piece is not about winning. It’s about surviving with softness intact. About holding your story even when it shakes in your hands. About being the light you never got.
