Yann Muller - English Man

My cover version of the song "Last Rendez-Vous", originally by Jean Michel Jarre.
I've played the song on my MIDI keyboard. 

For the Saxophone part I used the virtual instrument of "Samplemodeling", which I find sounding really impressive. The melody for the sax is inspired by the original version, but is my own interpretation.

Furthermore I used virtual instruments from Native Instruments (Kontakt 5, FM8, Massive) and Cakewalk (Z3TA+ 2, Studio Instruments Drum kit).

Played all individual instruments on my keyboard and recorded them using Cakewalk SONAR X2.

The original song was recorded for the Rendez-Vous album of Jean Michel and was dedicated to his friend Ron mcNair. Ron was an astronaut on the Challenger Space Shuttle, and would have played this song on his sax while orbitting in outer space. However after take off of the Challenger the Space Shuttle exploded taken the life of Ron and the complete crew.

Here is my cover version of the song "Your Latest Trick", originally from "Dire Straits".
I played every single instrument on my MIDI keyboard and recorded it using Cakewalk's SONAR X3 Producer.

It's a completely new version of this song, with a higher beat rate, than the original.

I especially like playing the saxophone track using the saxophones plugin from samplemodeling (www.samplemodeling.com). This Virtual Instrument (VST) really sounds amazing realistic!

Cover version - Your Latest Trick (Dire Straits)

Here is my cover version of the instrumental song "Autobahn" , originally performed by the German group "Kraftwerk".

Played all individual instruments on my keyboard trying to recreate the sound of the mixed version of the original track.

Used OrangeVocoder vst-plugin for the vocal tracks.

played completely using Soft Synths (VST plugins) in Cakewalk SONAR X1 Producer software.

I played every individual track on my keyboard and finally sung the lead vocals.
