Activists and fervent rave militants The Driver and Electric Rescue come together for a superb new EP as W.LV.S. It lands on ASTROPOLIS Records and features vocals from Louisahhh and remixes from Cuften and Tommy Four Seven.
Our choice here is remix by fast-rising young artist and new label signee Cuften. He has also released on Marc Acardipane’s Planet Phuture, and this remix of 'Orca' has rough analogue machines carving out a retro-electro banger.

As part of our promise to bring new faces to the London scene, we welcome our first international guest, who will make his UK debut at ON-SET party in December at Rhythm Factory. A DJ who is equally at ease playing either Vinyl or CDJs, and who is much in demand all over Poland clubs. Very well known for his skilful mixing, and one of the main Techno promoters in his Country. Here is RUST!

RUST is present on the Polish techno stage since 2003. Mainly known there as one of the best promoters of Acid, Hard and Dark Techno, but also as a very good DJ. He is the owner of Warsaw Mechanism, one of the biggest underground Polish crew. 

He started to play over a decade ago, sharing the stage with great artists like Adam Beyer, Perc, Chris Liberator, Jeff Amadeus, Lenny Dee, Mark EG, A Paul, Mike Humphries, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Patrick DSP, Forest People, Ganez The Terrible, Black.Art, and Maxx...

Until 2013 RUST was known as a Acid Techno DJ, but he recently got hooked on more darker, raw underground techno, and his sets have been appreciated in some of the best clubs all over Poland, including Warsaw, Wroclaw, Kracow, Gdansk, Sopot, Łódź, and Poznan, and also in Europe in Dublin (Ireland) and Ostrawa (Czech).

For all the Acid that is coming out through this so-called "Acid revival" I was somehow missing the good old hook of the 90s Acid-Techno tracks. After countless requests to do some new Acid again it finally clicked with me and I had this - in my opinion - great Acid hook to jump along to for the Acid To The Future track. I really love this one and it could've been big in the 90s I guess...so hopefully this will click with the listeners also today :-) Acid Funk and Acid Jaxx pretty much speak for themselves and are funky groovin' Acid tracks with a more modern touch mixed with the old vibe flavour. Machine Banger is definitely on the harder side and was done for Ferox' This is Acid... Nothing else" VA compilaton on Kobayashi.Hands up and have fun...
