Basem Darwisch is an Egyptian composer and oud soloist living in Germany. He is one of the Egyptian music experts in Europe with long experience as a music consultant for television, movie and drama.He was a member of the Egyptian Folklore Music Metqal El Qenawi and later joined the famous Nubian star Mohamed Mounir. He formed, together with Matthias Frey the German-Egyptian Band & Project Cairo Steps --Oriental Spirits meet JaZZ , with many performances worldwide.Basem is Producer for well known christian Singers like Maher Fayez & Fadia Bazzi and Naser Musa.
