In the neon-lit underbelly of Vilnius, where the pulse of the city syncs with the rhythm of the cosmos, Lithuanian sound architect Tourman emerges with his debut EP on Trance-Atlantyk entitled "Identification Mentale." This electrifying release is a masterclass in neo progressive house soundscapes, featuring three original tracks and one hard-hitting remix.

The EP kicks off with „Restricted Airspace”, igniting senses with its relentless drive and pulsating bass. The track is a cybernetic symphony, weaving together glitchy synth lines and hypnotic beats that propel you into the heart of a digital dystopia. Embracing a darker, more introspective vibe, "Digitalog" is a proper roller that dances effortlessly between the realms of emotion and energy.

The title track boldly attacks your auditory membranes with its earwormy synth stabs, echoing the familiar yet exhilarating sensations of a sonic awakening. My main inspiration was the journey and exploration of old tribal, techno/house records I began once I've got my first turntable and my passion for emulating oldschool ways of producing music. I wanted it to be raw, heavily sampled, but in contrast to how usually techno tracks were made - to contain more musical motives that would allow the A side tracks to vibe fully on their own, not being contained into a strict loopy DJ tool form.

The result is an A side that reflects on some of my favorite digs and classic sounds and it focuses on intensity and energy. During the production I was thinking a lot of anchoring a sunny, hot festival day feeling into those two tracks - to make them exciting - and fun without having to sound overly happy.

B side is an exploration into less club-centric inspirations, featuring a deeper, building vibe but also a very soulful and filter/french house inspired experiment.

The third instalment in our mix series comes from a close friend of the label, petar_tverkal, a Warsaw-based DJ and producer turning heads with her high-energy, trance-infused sound.

After first coming across her sets, it was clear her sound was a natural fit for Basement. We instantly connected over a mutual love for the same artists, labels, and a shared taste for fast grooves, strange textures, and progressive-leaning club sounds.
Starting her journey as a DJ before diving into production, petar_tverkal has quickly built a reputation for blending progressive house, eurodance, and fast groove techno. 

Her debut EP on German label Hyperrave blends hard groove and hypnotic techno, followed by a progressive house release on UK imprint Labonnemusique and, most recently, eurodance cuts via PULZAR.
In Warsaw, she co-founded WOX—a platform for workshops, lectures, and events supporting women and queer communities—and launched UWA, a night dedicated to supporting beginner DJs.
