We here at philthtrax have been long time fans of DJ Flint and his label Halsted Street Entertainment.  This entire scene wouldn't be here if it weren't the originators.  And they still killing it.

Meanwhile, Germany's Simlocked has been repeatedly hitting our favourite new tracks list.  To that, the seemingly distanced connection between these two has made for a interesting flip of a classic.  @posseup doing what Posse Up does, Posse'ing Up fine talent for a better world.

We are stoked to finally introduce the other pinnacle of Basement Labs into the arena, Simbad. Simbad unleashes brutal electro cuts surrounded by some intricate Shay D vocals, with ongoing acid lines providing all sorts of squelch and crunchy breaks leading the way. This is just a sign of what's to come from this mysterious man, with some more savagery on its way before big fat poppa Claus makes his way down your chimney.

Today, they're bringing us energetic heat in the form of "El Dinio's Mansion" - blending breezing chords into the electronic essence of Acid, it's all glued together with a cheeky vocal sample on a broken beat.
