Berlin-based Robosonic welcome the springtime with their first OFF EP.

"Worst Love" uses an anthemic sample to create a groovy dancefloor burner with tight groove.

Doctor Dru delivers a contemporary underground pop remix.

Fritz Zander from the Suol collective made a "Panorama Bar 9 am"-styled remix for the real house-heads.

And with "Thankful", Robosonic give us a 2nd original track, slightly more toolish than Worst Love.

We had the pleasure to get our hands on the soulful house jam "Sunday Shoutin'", released on 4th Floor / Defected in the year 2000 by JOHNNY CORPORATE, the New-Jersey born and bred, NYC and DC based DJ & producer duo consisting of Doug Smith & Richard Payton. 
The original, remixed by the likes of Eric Morillo and Harry "Choo Choo" Romero, sold over 30,000 copies back in the day and even made it into the UK pop charts. We love this track and have been playing our own vinyl copy so much that it's all scratched and warped now. :) Very excited to share our rework with you! 
Release as an exclusive on Defected In The House on the 11th of February. X

From working alongside some of the world’s biggest pop stars to crafting seminal and timeless underground house, Marc Kinchen, better known by his alias MK, is a peerless craftsmen of modern-day music. Arguably enjoying the most prolific artistic form of his life, Defected presents MK In The House is, somewhat unbelievably, his first ever mix compilation and provides a snapshot of where he currently sits; a two mix project taking in Lana Del Ray, Dusky, Jamie Jones, FCL, Huxley and Kings of Tomorrow, as well as a handful of exclusive MK remixes. 

Defected presents MK In The House showcases a hand-picked selection of records both new and old. Rather than aiming for different vibes on each of the two discs, the Detroit DJ has recorded one long session that was simply split in two.  “A lot of my DJ friends, I thought they did their mixes and podcasts live, but a lot of them use Ableton” he admits.  “This was the first time I did it that way and it was pretty cool for me.”

In addition to the two studio mixes, the release includes 10 additional MK releases and remixes, from 4th Measure Men ‘Given’ to his recent remix of Inner City’s timeless ‘Future’. Over the past few years, MK has enjoyed a renaissance and subsequent rich vein of form in a career that was already exceptional, and Defected presents MK In The House may very well be the mix of his life.
