The Best of "The Basher"

Yes, the picture is a little bit different because I accidentally made a picture mistake when putting this into my favorite bashups playlist. Sorry about that. CONTINUING!

This actually isn't mine. The bash up is, but not where it comes from. It's 2 versions of the same Vocaloid song called "iNSaNiTY". The IA+Miku version is by YouTuber peacheis, and the "Male" version was made by YouTuber Hiari. I don't think those two even own those songs! I don't know where it orignally comes from. Also, the picture isn't mine, either. I remember this being played in a YouTube video that had 9 Vocaloids singing the song. It was pretty cool. The YouTuber who has this picture is Yuki Yamino. Also, this picture has been used in a game called Osu! All three of these YouTubers are pretty cool, and I think you should check them out.

Ok. I admit that the "Male version" part drags a bit. You notice it most when it's Miku/lowered Kaito's turn to sing. However, I did my very best to try and fix that. It's not perfect, but this is my first official song from Audacity. I couldn't be more proud of this.

INSaNiTY Bashup

The picture comes from zerochan.net. The two tracks I used are Rin+Len and Luka+Miku's version of Cantarella. The Rin+Len version comes from YouTuber googoo888, and the Luka+Miku version comes from YouTuber ChocolateIceCreamNim. They'e both great YouTubers and you should check them out.

Maybe I should have used Kaito+Miku's version, but I feel like this was a better version. I like it when a female sings notes people think only males are supposed to sing.

Cantarella Bashup

I think this is in A Flat Major.

Yes, I know that before, this kind of thing has been called a chorus, and people on YouTube edit different versions of the same song to make it perfect. However, this isn't YouTube. This is SoundCloud. And, I use the entire track. The only editing I need to do is perfect the timing. So, Mega-Bashup is MY coined term, and I'M aloud to use it!

I used 4 versions of this version of the song (and yes, this grammatically makes sense)- Luka+Miku, Kaito+Miku, Miku+Rin (though I think Miku's the only one who sings), and the original by White Flame. Luka+Miku belongs to ChocolateIceCreamNim, Kaito+Miku with White Flame (it was in the same video) belongs to Wizner011, and Miku+Rin belongs to Ren Solus.

So far, I have taken the most time into editing this song. I hope you like it, and I hope SoundCloud knows what a TimeShift tool is.

Cantarella Mega - Bashup In A Flat Major

Yes, they are singing different lyrics. However, I think that it's really good lyrics or not.

Also, I'm officially going to call this a Mashup-Bashup, because it's a mashup of two different covers of the same song, but it's a bashup at the same time because of the key difference.

I was coming up with another one for Rin+Len and Kaito+Akaito. But then I saw a different version of Kaito+Akaito and thought that it would go really well with this. And it did! So, with a couple of sound checks, I've been able to upload this.

Magnet Bashup (Rin+Len And Kaito+Akaito)

So, I was listening to a video called "Darkiplier- Come Little Children", and thought that would go great with the original version. So, today, I tried playing them both simultaneously, and it worked... except for one thing- Darkiplier's version was too fast. After many tries getting the two songs to be the same speed, I gave up. Then, a few hours later, I realized that I could put them together... or, at least make it sound like they were together. I did that by doing what I did to Rin+Len's Magnet Bashup- change the pitch. 
I just realized this is pretty close to what the key is in Darkiplier's version. The harmony is in G minor instead of G sharp/A flat minor (I think.)

Note difference: 5 notes half-step-wise

I think now's the time to tell this: Unfortunately, I can't post many more songs on SoundCloud because I'm almost out of space. I think now, I have less than 25 minutes left. So, I decided to make an account on another music site called Your Listen. It's harder to navigate through it, but I hope that all my people on here will follow me in that account, too and listen to my music. I'll keep this account up, but I won't be using it.
If no one reads this description, then I'll make a little audio blog about it so that everyone knows.
If anyone is inspired by me and wants to continue these bashups on SoundCloud, then by all means, go right ahead! What's stopping you? You may have to do it in secrecy just like I'm doing. But, if this is what you want to do, then I say go for it!

Hey, everyone! Should I say that I'm back? Well, not really. I decided to delete a non-bashup recording of myself and upload a little something. So, a few moments ago, I uploaded this onto YouTube for the start of my 2-year anniversary special, and I decided to also possibly temporarily upload it on Soundcloud (mostly due to the copyright claims I've been immediately getting). I say possibly because I might keep the track on here since I think it's so good, but I might also not. I hope you all enjoy this interesting bashup!

Before you read the rest of this bio below, I'm happy to say that I've been around for over a year now! I'm so glad that everybody loves my bashups (especially the JubyPhonic vs. Lizz one)! And to celebrate this 2-year anniversary, I'm posting never-before-heard bashups every day for this entire month on my YouTube channel, which is now the top link on the set of 5 links I have. (By the way, don't go on YourListen. It's TERRIBLY buggy.)

HOW COME I CAN'T GET A GOOD ENOUGH PICTURE!?
(Ok. That's not important.)

So, on YouTube, I made this playlist called "Songs I would LOVE to 'Bash Up'". The term "bash up" I coined myself because what I wanted to do was neither a remix nor a mashup. I wanted to combine two different versions of the same song, and the versions of the songs were in keys that would (at least) mostly work together and sound good. I later found out that the perfect bash up is two different versions of the songs with a 5-note difference from each other. (5-note difference as in when it's a half-step. Full-step-wise, it's a 3-note difference.)

I use Audacity to make my music because I don't have anything else.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this little idea that I had, and may my music be pleasant to your ears! (I don't recommend the Romeo and Cinderella bash ups, though.) :)
