This is the outcome of a project started on #blackouttuesday. 

I wanted to engage with this movement by researching and learning more about race inequality, both past and current. After some general reading, I noticed that Corey Jones was emphasised as a drummer in the news articles - naturally as a drummer myself I wanted to hear his work. 

More and more, I came across the music of black musicians who had been murdered. In the case of this particular song; George Floyd (Rapper), Corey Jones (Drummer), Don Myrick (Saxophonist).

I urge you to please listen to their original works, not least from interest but also this will count towards generating royalties that may support their band mates and families respectively.

It's truly not my intention to raise my personal profile by piggy-backing on current events and I will happily delete if this isn't what we need right now. I approached this as a musician, engaging with current events and collaging samples to deepen my own understanding in the way I know how, thereby doing my part to raise awareness within my industry.
