	I debated with my harshest critic (me) for some weeks about whether to post this track, but, at last, decided “damn the torpedoes – full speed ahead!”.   So, here is my venture into the Celtic folk song idiom, based on an ostinato (vamp?) of ascending bass and guitar riffs.
	The lyrics celebrate the Falathrim, the sea elves from Tolkein's “The Silmarillion”, who were led by Cirdan (he makes an appearance at the end of the “Lord of the Rings” saga).   In many ways, Cirdan and his Falathrim were the greatest of the Moriquendi.

Happy #MusicByUma Thursday! Here's Lovesong by Uma (The Cure/Adele cover)! I say both The Cure (original artist) AND Adele (famous cover on her album 21) because both renditions inspired my die-hard love for this song, in their own unique ways. They both brought out the passion of what unconditional love means, in the happy sense and the deep, heartwrenching sense. I sang this song to convey my own interpretation and feelings of unconditional love that I'm privileged to feel and receive in my life, and I hope you guys can feel that!

Back in 1981, there was a major news item on the front of the tabloids involving two young teenagers who had committed suicide in a car. They left a note saying that there was no point in carrying on living as they had no job and no money. Unemployment was the highest it had ever been at that time, so it made the headlines. This song was my comment. There was nothing great about the Thatcher government and yes, I was there. (Terry Reeves)
