When water falls from the sky it creates a momentary disruption. This disruption is necessary for growth. Necessary to clean, hydrate and provide sustenance for our ecology.

Over the past 2 years we wrote this album to reconcile through grief. We used the music as medicine. A therapeutic vice, transforming the ailments.

Basic Biology hails from the burning Sonoran desert; a vastness whose king is subtlety, and queen is adaptation. Nothing comes easy in the desert--nothing without sacrifice.

Many, to whom the desert would not confide, fled to the pillars of modern humanity: the ease of city too overwhelming to resist.
The constant hum informing all intent.

It is well known that humans can find meaning in all manner of places, but those who find it under the desert sun find their triumph an altar to the sanguine. 

As Basic Biology, we desire to explore the antipodes of paradox as it collapses and falls into itself in accordance with entropy, reassembling neutrality as nothing and everything at once.
