Eight years after Cuthead's "Give'n'Take", it's @sneakerdj's turn to put together four of his favorite tracks for Uncanny Valley's compilation series. The artwork is once again by Planetluke.com aka Luca Lozano.

Besides L.B. Bad’s wonderful “Late In The Evening (Music’s Seeping Thru)” you’ll get three absolute bangers on top. The Optimistic Misanthropes are @mysticbill, VeXaTioN and Sneaker himself. One of the most influential Chicago House DJs, true to the underground for over three decades now, and once part of the Trax Records roster... Mystic Bill. VeXaTioN already got to know him back in the days but is currently hailing from Mexico City. His track was born in Los Angeles and remixed by Sneaker in Berlin.

Also, Left Unknown's "Mädchen" got the jacking Midas touch from Sneaker, a touch you've come to recognize. Behind the one-off project is Saxonian Gnista aka @deejaydetox and somebody who wants to remain incognito. @jacob-korn however is well-known since the early days of Uncanny Valley and is above all Sneaker's best buddy at TailOut Studio, Dresden.

SES1 set out what quality electro means for Shipwrec. The first in the series brought together six musicians from far and wide, musicians who journey through the colder edge of their analogue instruments with a clear ear for the floor. SES2 starts where its predecessor left off. The genre bending Ian Martin opens with the frigid funk of “Hyperstatic Transformation.” Stripped back, the track is bare in terms of its elements. Despite such meagre ingredients, Martin concocts an engaging and rich work of darkened grooves and sinister undercurrents. o-0._.0-o is the playful pseudonym of acid freetekno enthusiast Owen. His contribution, “Acidrobotik”, releases a free and wandering 303 lines that forges a bubbling path through crisp percussion. The flip brings an artist better known for his work in techno. Cliche Morph delves into the clinical side of his palette and emerges with the stunning “Placebo.” Balancing alienated and arctic blasts with a thawing warmth, the outcome is pure classic electro. A rising star of machine music follows, Fleck E.S.C. A dirty bassline is further sullied by layers of gritty distortion and glitched vocals in this re-wired work of ghetto. A legend of electronics closes, Kirill Junolainen. Under his lauded Konerytmi moniker, this synthesiser shapeshifter delivers “Kuva Alkio.” Stuttering bass and tight drums are the foundation from which sci-fi inspirations take hold, sailing strings tethered by a terse snare as SES2 is brought to a triumphal close.

Welcome to the richly rhythmic and deeply esoteric world of Zaliva-D. Based in the Chinese capital of Beijing, they’ve been circling the country’s borders for more than a decade due to the extreme difficulty of streaming music there. Zaliva-D consists of musician Li Chao and Aisin-Gioro Yuanjin, who’s responsible for their stunning live visuals. We’re very proud to present Forsaken, their 4th album, but first ever vinyl release. Wrapped around a core of gut wrenchingly ferocious kicks and haunting vocals, these tracks possess a mantra-like quality and drown the listener into a world of Chinese and South East Asian textures. Forsaken, mastered by Wouter Brandenburg, is their most well-written, organic and esoteric record to date, showing a more fragile, sensitive side. Soon Zaliva-D will perform on European soil, accompanied by this Knekelhuis debut. Artwork by Fenna Fiction.

Presenting Queens of Club: a two-part VA celebrating the established and up-and-coming women and non-binary producers of Ghetto House, Electro, Footwork & Breakbeat.

Night Shift, shown here, is ten tracks of dark and pacey goodness with plenty of breakbeats and acid to satisfy your club cravings. However “generic” is not in the vocabulary of these producers as recurring themes of dance music are juxtaposed on every track with Ghetto House vocals, moody synths or thematic switch ups that will keep you on your toes, even if you're sitting down.

The title pays homage to the seminal "Queens of Baltimore Club", a highly sought-after LP from various legendary female Bmore artists (like Kotton the Cutie and Mz. Thang) compiled by DJ Technics in 2001. Almost two decades later and the club scene is still a hostile environment for marginalised groups and this compilation aims to address that. Queens of Club is by women/non-binary people, right down to the mastering engineer and the artwork designers, and intended for everyone who likes to shake their ass at high speed!

She fingered the papers on her desk, leafing through archaic texts and historical works of old men she cared very little for. Since beginning her studies she had tried her best to shun the so-called 'experts' in favour of new radicals, of unheard voices and those who went against the grain. That was the way she'd been raised, to think and look outside of the box, something she felt increasingly thankful for as she grew older. After all, you should never believe everything you're told...

Parisian label Zone, masterminded by The Hacker and Alexandre Raynaud, have built a reputation for their tasteful electro-driven output, boasting a catalogue that includes Gesaffelstein Jensen interceptor, Maelstrom and many more. For their next instalment they turn their attentions to Budapest and DJ and producer CT Kidobó, who has previously released music for Earth Plates, Dalmata Daniel and, under his Das Model moniker, for Mille Feuilles. Across the four tracks on Impulse & Inhibition, CT Kidobo explores sounds for the day time, with future plans in place for a sequel of darker "sounds of the night" later this year.
