Vibrant spring, new year, and fresh faces. Jon Gl3z has returned to the label to follow his Discordian Dreaming submission with a strong, deep minded release with support from Ivan Dbri and Josiah Fontenot. Timeless is a color wheel of shades, from deep house, minimal, and breaks. A diverse collection representing the numerous hues of the season.

Soul Healing starts us off with staple house percussions layered in a blanket of lush pad thickness. The ride slips into neutral during a dizzy breakdown where pads and keys collide in a symphony of melody and orca songs. On remix duties for this lovely deep dive is Mexico's don of the deep Ivan Dbri. Following a boundary defying album on the label Ivan returns to lay in support for his friend and often deck mate. Ivan applies his signature lush landscape interplayed with precision percussive moments. His layers of atmosphere only cease during a collision of elements that repeat and then liftoff. Timeless swerves a different direction with a glowing minimal construction that elevates into some nice ambient atmospheres. Driven by a colliding arpeggio, the selection adds complimenting keys and percussive layers. The result is a thick tapestry of sounds all dancing in perfect synchronization. Josiah Fontenot ups the tempo and applies his signature techno/electro edge. Reminiscent of early Casey Hogan recordings, Josiah skates the boundaries of techno and house utilizing the growing melodics of the original but with an edge that makes it a heavy force on the dancefloor. Valeria ties us up with a fun and bouncy breaks construction that can permeate your house music sets, largely due to its deep and jazzy accents. Leveraging tried and true elements like mellotron oooohhs and classic Rhodes keys, Valeria brings an element of nostalgia to this well-rounded release.

At the beginning of the ‘90s a new music wave was emerging in Italy. Inspired by an innate sense of freedom and experimentation and fuelled by the turmoil of the club scene and record shops, a generation of Italian DJs and producers envision the sound of the future.
 
Going further into connecting Two Generations, distant yet neighbouring: the one that blazed the trail in the early nineties and the one that continues to follow it today. A new volume animated by the same spirit and attitude as the first one: not a nostalgic or commemorative operation, but a propulsive thrust for a possible evolution.
 
In continuity with the first part of the project, ‘Ciao Italia. Underground Generations - Volume 2’ surfs between the past, present and future, delving further into the origins of an era whose sounds and atmospheres remain an endless source of inspiration today. Artists who were often forced to use multiple aliases, a story that still sounds incredibly current and that has had the merit of breaking that stereotype of xenophilia of which our country is an undying victim. Much more than just a "scene" it can be described as a mental state, a lifestyle, marked by unifying electronic pulsations, exotic and dreamy, ecstatic and liberating.
 
The collection, of which a second double volume is expected before the end of the year, cherry picks another selection of seminal producers of that all-Italian golden age. Alongside this, it includes productions from some of the new ‘Underground Generation’, ideally inspired by the iconic sound of that time, but at the same time kaleidoscopic and ultra-contemporary. Evidence of an avant-garde that is bright and alive not only in memories, but even now more than ever, in the tracks produced by the likes of Baia Club (Whodamanny, Walter Del Vecchio and Dario Bassolino), Cosmo, Donato Dozzy & Rumi, Lorenzo Morresi and many more.
 
Once again, while the record slides under the needle, the hope is to be able to capture that magnetic atmosphere and regain possession of it for a few moments, clinging to the indomitable charm of the ‘underground’ grooves. Yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Italo-House classic “Tumbe” released in 1992 on Irma Records with Murk edits is here again with new fresh remixes.
Cesare Collina aka Tito Valdez and Umberto Damiani join forces 30 years ago to make “The big nowhere” version; with percussions played by Cesare, tropical voices and trancy pads.
On the remixes duties we have legendary Riviera hero Ricky Montanari, Dirty grooves master LTJ and the young House head Hill.
Ricky found an unreleased remix jam of “Tumbe” he did in the 90s with his classic Riviera Traxx groove which doesn’t need any presentation.
LTJ made a slow version with his unique beat, accompanied by atmospheric pads, lovely electric guitar riff and classic Rhodes.
Hill made a Paradise mix with dreamy Pianos, funky bassline and old school strings which goes to close this record in the best way.
