Jorge Caiado and Paul Cut return for another round after their 2020 collaboration on Caiado’s Time & Space LP. Those familiar with the two will know the order of the day: immaculately produced and deeply-felt house music that marries a studio master’s subtlety with a live musician’s flair. Each of these tracks bursts with the essence of soulful house and its jazz forebears, traversing moods that are by turns wistful, playful and go-getting. Cut’s solos on the keys — which recently graced Larry Heard’s latest LP — provide the loose counterpoint to Caiado’s tight production. Inner Balance softly strikes again.

Guards scurried sullenly through the crowd, trying to learn the circumstances of such a large-scale event. Corporal Graves, the grey cardinal and the former head of the security service, was notorious for being a rare crook in search of profit. It was he who helped organise the fake trades. The fierce struggle for rare lots forced the participants to accept the only choice, but even a disguise and the total sold-out could not save the accomplices from imprisonment.

Hitting on a misspent youth digging through his dad's record collection, Night Renaissance stomps a straight 4x4, garnished with eerie jazz keys, grooving bass, chopped vocal and added horns, to create a smokey basement bump.
'Ghetto Girl’ is one for the essentials toolbox, with its growling bass and bump. This girl rolls down town with serious amounts of swing. ‘Classics Always Win' brings to life his Roland TR8 and MC303 to create sunshine loop that funks for days… just listen to that bassline.
On final track, 'Does The MPC Burn', the Frenchman winds the filters, stabs the vocals and ignites the dancefloor… Burn? Yes, it does.

Jacid Jam from SQL & low& with Out of Sorts remix. In a serendipitous turn of events, three DJs found themselves entwined in the vibrant tapestry of electronic music, culminating in a collaborative EP set to enrapture audiences worldwide. The trio, comprising Goetzlich(Switchbox), Pim(SQL), and (Marcelo)Dreamawaken, embarked on a musical odyssey that began over a decade ago in the heart of Cologne. Despite their initial connection in 2010, it wasn't until 2023 that destiny intervened once more, catalysing a reunion that would redefine their musical trajectory. Goetzlich and Pim found themselves sharing the stage at the esteemed Evolution Festival in southern Germany, igniting a dormant spark of collaboration. The seamless fusion of their sounds reignited their creative synergy, beckoning them towards a shared vision. Recognizing Marcelo's existing partnership with Goetzlich under the moniker "low&", Pim seamlessly joined the fold, adding depth and dimension to their collective endeavor. In this debut EP on Beat & Path, you can sense an unwavering connection formed over years of mutual appreciation and artistic journeying.
