This year irrepressible Italian born electronic producer Roberto Bosco returns with a new EP via his own imprint Last Drop Records, recently founded alongside with his partner in crime Kiny. This EP, that features four tracks, begins in media res with Sonorous Waves Part 1. An ambient intro track that creates the conditions for a mystic and celestial environment that pervades the whole release. Towards the end of the track a psychedelic reflection reshapes the sound: it is the light that filters, crystal clear and bright. The other track on the same side, Part 2, is more dancefloor oriented with a 4/4 beat and multi-layered structure made of typical industrial and techno sonorities. It's evident that they include Roberto Bosco's legacy: stormy emotions but with deep and melodic sound lines. Part 3 is another intro track, starting with spectral sounds that carefully develop into a full sci-fi ambience. Then, finally, part 4 arises with obscure and hypnotics sounds that match very slowly a more perpetual and gentle 4/4 that ends with ups and downs and a syncopated bass.

Our next episode is a deep mix of sounds of soulful melody that has the power to calm the most restless hearts. It's the harmony that underlies the chaos of the city. It's the symphony of life that most people miss. Sip on this deep blend of music.

Noah Lyas, also known as Malii Yorks, is an Amsterdam based artist who is passionate about two things; making refined ceramic products and composing deep rhythms within the spectrum of techno as a genre. 
Malii grew up in a house where reggae music often sounded through the speakers in the living room because of two passionate parents who shared a large record collection with their children at an early age. With a father as a musician, early contact with different instruments was made as well as performing arts. Long days in dusty music studios, live performances and wandering around at festivals as a child were not excluded. 
Later in life, around the age of twenty, there was a lot of dancing in night clubs with friends who not only shared a love for techno, but also reggae, dub-reggae in particular, and there the discovery of dub-techno came (a fusion of dub-reggae and techno) which also became a starting point for Malii to produce electronic music. With this music in mind, years passed with only creations that never left the studio and the search for a musical identity took quite a while, which was a good thing because more inspiration came along; tribal percussion rhythms and dreamy symphonies that can be found in movies or deep ambient music. All these sources of inspiration are forming the base of all music Malii creates. 
The first two releases, “Before the Horizon” and “Obsidian”, were the starting point of Noah Lyas as a producer and also the beginning of a record label called “Profundo Collective”.
