"Ohrwert | NºXX II", from the album "NºXX", available at https://music.ohrwert.com/album/n-xx.

The ambiguous title "NºXX" refers to both the Latin writing for night and number twenty. Much as "Tenth" (Other Heights, 2010) was a closing album for the Reduct series 1 to 9, "NºXX" is a closing album for the Reduct series 11 to 19.

As the reference in the title to night suggests, the music is all about nocturnal dub vibes, weaving through moonlit ambient clouds.

The new chapter of polysyllabic conclusions about life manifests itself in one of the eight parallel directions. The mark that time has left on the knowledge roadmap represents the study and shift of future technologies. The collective contribution to the development of mixing, sampling and FM synthesis receives impressive interpretations. The rich Scandinavian palette plays with shades of vividness and excellence.

20 years ago, i started my electronic music journey and about 8 of them, i produce my own waveforms. I’ve always tried to bring my own visions to life and do the things i love in the way that seems to be right for me. With Spectral Ranges my first album arrives and i‘m very exited to finally present it to you all.

A huge part of my art always has been the DIY concept. The projects goal was to do it 100% my self. Starting from writing and producing the music, up the to mastering and building 100 wooden cd cases including carbonated compact discs for the physical version of the album. I seriously underestimated how much work you can put into a project like this and realized, that especially the physical version isn’t buildable alone in terms of precision and an overall good quality, so the guys from CNC-Holzbude (www.cnc-holzbude.de - special thanks to Mr.Chips) helped me out in the development process and milled the raw cases with their CNC-Machine.

Just as the music is inspired by nature, so are the cd cases. They are handmade products, mostly out of natural materials. CNC-milled at CNC-Holzbude (www.cnc-holzbude.de - special thanks to Mr.Chips). Hand-sanded, glued, assembled, painted and hand-stamped by Schulz Audio. There are of course irregularities and flaws which give every single case its own uniqueness.

The overall project is a synthesis of art for me and i hope you find some peace and inspiration in it.
