The High Tide label is back with a new EP from Mongo. Featuring two killer cuts and a fine remix from UK techno champ Alan Fitzpatrick, it is the fourth release from the label and is sure to cause a storm.

Planet Mongo is the first original and it is a spritely techno track with nice airy hi hats. A nice chord sequence slowly steps down the scales and brings a subtle sense of joy as sweeping synths all round add to the drama. It has already been getting great support play from Carl Cox,Eats Everything and James Zabiela amongst others, and is sure to be a massive summer track!

The remix from the Drumcode man and modern techno heavyweight Alan Fitzpatrick is a slow burner that builds up a fine head of steam. The drums are rock solid, there is tension and menace in the grooves and some female vocals really add an element of fire. John Digweed has been heavily supporting this mix.

Otherside is the other original and is a gurgling deep techno track with supple and subtle synth lines wriggling away over tech drums. It is a heads down number filled with style and closes out a top EP.
