Comet C/2010 X1 (Elenin) is a long-period comet discovered by Russian amateur astronomer Leonid Elenin on December 10, 2010, through remote control of the International Scientific Optical Network's robotic observatory near Mayhill in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The discovery was made using the automated asteroids discovery program CoLiTec. At the time of discovery, the comet had an apparent magnitude of 19.5, making it about 150,000 times fainter than can be seen with the naked eye. The discoverer, Leonid Elenin, originally estimated that the comet nucleus was 3–4 km in diameter, but more recent estimates place the pre-breakup size of the comet at 2 km. Comet Elenin started disintegrating in August 2011, and as of mid-October 2011 was not visible even using large ground-based telescopes.

For the 10th and final edition of his much prized various artist series, he unearths more machine fuelled magic: offering another set of equally excellent music from stellar talent.

Starting the dance, Dutch maestro Boris Bunnik dons his Versalife mantle to opens with ‘Skirmish 101’. Setting the machines to cycle, Bunnik fires a hefty slab of bass to bring down the walls whilst pristine robot like rhythms set your body in motion, all enveloped with sparse synthesis and shimmering effects. Crashing the joint with ‘Acid Baby’ – The Acid Pimp drops a no holds barred, riotous 303 workout that’s nothing short of a tour de force in exorcising the power of Roland’s most celebrated silver box. Putting pedal to the metal with drums and reverb, a smiley face or grimace is guaranteed!

Longtime collaborators Jamie Anderson & Owain K reset the dial on the flip with ‘Basement Dub’, a house paced workout that glides at a steady pace. Evoking the spirit of Mood II Swing whilst immersed in the depths of an underwater realm. Ending on the upbeat note of Konerytmi’s ‘Aamunkoitto’, the Finnish producer reflects a breezy disposition with a joyful melody, step-to electro beat and rolling acid bassline – all perfectly balanced to keep your calm and head out in the right direction, a great way to sign off on this highly collectable series.

We are excited to welcome Roi to the EC Underground roster.

A prominent figure in Spanish electronic music, Roi is renowned for his innovative and personal approach. Co-director of the Fanzine Project, he seamlessly blends genres to deliver sets that are both introspective and engaging. Roi's connection with audiences and commitment to musical innovation establish him as a key influencer and a mentor for aspiring DJs and producers.

This solid slab of dance music offers a blend of traditional house and techno with a backbone of everything EDM. Consistency makes Another Level stand out among its peers with stable track duration, slightly glitchy beats, and evermore bubbling bass.

From the very beginning of Club 113 one is to experience timeless keyboard sound combined with a predictable (and satisfying) rhythm section, which serves as an homage to the classic club music with a slight nostalgic scent; still, progressive sound production gives away that Roi is a modern DJ.

With Maceta and Terra Mia the release dwells more into the waters of glitch dance music while remaining true to his roots. Getting a little harsher and a little darker, these two tracks become a nice continuation of the less surprising opening of the EP.

Alluvial is my personal favorite of Another Level, a highlight of the release that shows off the ability of Roi to develop moody techno elements into the canvas of sterile electronics. The abundance of melodic buzz makes this track worth classic Detroit hymns with a pinch of local Spanish flavour.

The EP closes with a more psychedelic touch of Fallujah, a great soundtrack to drop out from your active trip phase and switch to a more ambient artist – if you know what I mean.

In conclusion, Roi sets a pretty high standard among European sound producers and is surely positioned to become a prime mover for his new label colleagues.

Hi Electro Techno lovers!!

On this occasion, we have the pleasure of presenting a new track by @allumynd called Virtual Bunker. A true synthesizer addict and artist who is attracting attention with his work.

Allumynd has been working for 6 years on sound equations using old synthesizers and equipment such as the Kawai k4 or the Electribe ER1, seeking the heat of the mix and the fusion with analogue tables and amplifiers of the time.

There is hardly any evidence of the sonic trajectory since the project was born with programming versions from a Roland MC 909, but what is certain are its sound references, the entire universe of Drexciya that has obsessed him for 20 years in which he has been submerged since then and now everything learned there is beginning to surface.

From Valladolid he produces and composes live songs that range from the strictest video game to more violent songs without losing the concept, a raw life full of hopeful post-apocalyptic pads and infinite arpeggios.

It is a real pleasure for Bunkerlau to collaborate with artists with such sound and human quality and totally Underground. Sometimes it is difficult to connect with someone with whom you share or admire what they do through social networks, which in some way means that using them well they can become very positive.
