In the beginning, there was love—at least, that’s what she thought. They met when life seemed full of promise, each smile from him like a warm ray of sunlight breaking through her doubts. But in the back of her mind, shadows started to form. Small, nagging feelings that she tried to ignore, telling herself that maybe she was overthinking, that maybe he truly loved her. But those feelings never left.

Over time, his charming mask began to crack, revealing glimpses of the man beneath—disrespectful, dismissive, narcissistic. He had a way of turning every conversation back to himself, twisting her words until she began to doubt her own reality. The lies became more frequent, slipping through his lips with ease, while she clung to the hope that he could change, that their love could still be real. But as each lie unraveled, she realized the man she thought she knew was just an illusion—a carefully crafted fake persona.
