Basilar Records tenth release comes from L'Age d'Or. A five track of many influences ranging from glitchy IDM, to ambient inspired house, to hip-hop. Colors - This introductory track starts off with a chilled out, glitchy, IDM feel, climaxing with a complex lively feel towards the end. 14th - The second track features a calm, reflective feel which developed into a chilled house-inspired track, drawing influences from tribal and an East Asian inspired sound to create an aural journey. Lake - The third track features a steady yet catchy electronic beat with a deep, relaxing synth blending the elements together. Infans - The fourth track melds together the ambient, mellow electronica with the intelligent, downtempo realm of hip-hop. 14th (Diarmo Remix) - Diarmo's remix of 14th is a complex, beat-orientated, ambient track with heavy house influences with the hi-hats and catchy rhythm underneath sure to get listeners dancing.
