Your soul wants to show itself in its truest form, strength, perseverance, courage and determination of spirit. In this lifetime your soul needs to cleanse and open its feelings for katharsis.

With the double compilation “Infinite Summer: Ekstase & Fantasi”, katharsis celebrates the return of raves and concerts to society after a long period of pandemic shutdown. A magical summer has passed filled with an incredible pallet of emotional material, ready to be expressed. Therefore, we encouraged a collection of artists we adore to channel their imagination of the greatest way to conclude an endless summer night into a piece of music.

This resulted in a grand assemblage of harmonious manifestations, naturally splitting into two divisions with opposing focuses. On the first part of the duology “Ekstase” coming out on September 20th, we are presented with fourteen tracks for the dancefloor in an array of different styles, ranging everywhere from energetic morning vibes on the junglish opener “Origin, Gate's Dawn” by Yem Gel to hardcore sensations on Mang’s trap-infused roller “Based Halo”.

Mathis Ruffing’s Transatlantic debut cuts to the chase. This is getaway music, music designed to vaporise your long-dormant adrenal glands. ‘Skybox’ is made up of tracks that surge like quicksilver through veins, pulsing, flexing, relentlessly disciplined in execution. These tunes are crystalline and shimmering, eight sleek and streamlined club constructs rendered with what feels like the precision-engineering of some advanced alien DAW.

Opener ‘Ultranova’ hits like a cyborgian headbutt and refuses to let up. It’s followed by the one-two punch of the title track and ‘Hitherto’, which install cooling, gaseous pads and synths within breakneck drum&bassian exoskeletons. ‘Crater Edge’ and closer ‘Raytraced’ offer cryochamberesque respite from the cold-blooded fury enclosed within this release — well-earned breathing room in an album that takes hold with crisp and calculated force. Pure focus.

SODAA Club is a community developing a decentralised governance model for a music & arts venue in London.

Their first release explores the foundations of their own sound - with members and friends of their commmunity, the 31-track compilation is "genreless and fluid, self-organised and bottom-up."

Inspired by the decentralised release of Alkisah by Senyawa, any label sharing similar values could release their own version : "the artists and the labels participating in this compilation believe in a more equitable and collaborative future for our scenes, one guided by principles of solidarity economy, distributed decision-making, and the rejection of capitalist notions of culture, music and space."

This new compilation is darker and more club-oriented than the first one, but still featuring a hefty dose of emotional heartbreak tales and pop anthems. The project features tracks by KimberlaiD, bdstf, Technopagan, ACAB@_@ROOKIE, digifae (Diana Starshine + Galen Tipton), Lisa More, ELOI, salome and more ; and draws from the following prompt :

Let’s get Vocal: Raiders Records is finally back with another compilation and this time it’s all about voices!
In astrology and Roman mythology, Mercury is the messenger. This compilation takes the interpretation that singers and MC’s are the messengers of our community. In that vein we united nine amazing artists/friends on six fantastic songs, all of which use unique vocals instead of samples to create something truly fresh. If Mercury is the messenger then Berlin is the medium, as this distinctly international group are nonetheless all deeply embedded in this city’s club scene.
Lovingly curated by jpeg.love, this extraplanetary outing spans myriad styles. From spaced-out electro by raiders mainstay $ombi to breaks-laden melodic madness courtesy of L V J. From Soyklō’s unique Pop-driven DnB to JCow and NAS TEA’s sizzling hot, acidic, “(So) Divine”. Or “Caught Up”: the instantly catchy Club Music-esque anthem of Neana and Eddington Again, which wouldn’t be out of place on the billboard charts. Last but not least there’s jpeg themselves, in a dream team-up with global phenomenon DJ Fuckoff, for some DIY punk that speaks the language of fat bass & even fatter breaks.
This release is dedicated to the many, mostly BIPOC femme artists within the electronic music scene that have never been credited or paid for giving a dancefloor track its character and soul.
