Tokyo-based DJ and producer Shun has steadily carved out a name for himself in the global electronic music underground, delivering a singular sound that fuses hypnotic machine funk, acid-soaked textures, and emotionally resonant techno. Active since the late 2010s, Shun’s output balances gritty dancefloor energy with cerebral, futuristic sound design - offering a sonic fingerprint that is both raw and refined.

With releases spanning revered labels such as Central Processing Unit, TRUST, Diffuse Reality, Blackstrobe Records, and Natural Selection, Shun’s discography reflects both range and consistency. His early standout work, including the Steel Garage EP (Blackstrobe Records, 2018) and Dreamland EP (Insult To Injury, 2019), showcased a distinctive blend of industrial, EBM, and electro-rooted aesthetics. Subsequent releases like The Door EP on Central Processing Unit and Early Reflections on Natural Selection further cemented his reputation as a forward-thinking producer within the modern electro and techno circuits.

Not one to be boxed into a single style, Shun has explored everything from minimalist sci-fi electro to dense, percussive techno. Collaborations with artists like AE35 and Human Rebellion, as well as his 2025 Accumulation EP on Science Cult, highlight his collaborative spirit and constant evolution.

Shun is also a sought-after remixer, having reinterpreted tracks for artists including Arnaud Rebotini, Type-303, and Shrinkwrap Killers, each time adding his own signature analog grit and sonic depth. His remix of Accelerated Frequency's “xx Isis xx” on TRUST is a testament to his ability to blur the boundaries between electro, acid, and experimental club music.

Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. 

Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre, he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. 

After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys.
