An effortlessly playful nature mixed with a supreme swagger that can only come from the most spry of collaborations, Borgore teams up with G-Eazy for the release of “Forbes,” the title track off his upcoming EP on Buygore. Co-produced by Styles & Complete, "Forbes" leads with G-Eazy's signature slick vocals, building along a trap beat that slowly simmers before bursting to the forefront.
 
Through a decade-long list of accomplishments, Tel-Aviv born Asaf Borger has amassed millions of fans worldwide. Under his iconic moniker Borgore, the founder of Buygore Records has become known not only for his provocative nature, but his high-level productions. Headlining sold out shows at iconic events such as Tomorrowland, Made In America, Ultra and EDC Las Vegas, Borgore also hosts “The Buygore Show,” an internationally syndicated SiriusXM radio series that shares the name of his upcoming US Tour. Labeled as one to watch by MTV, indie-rapper G-Eazy has slowly but steadily built his reputation for almost a decade. With a series of mixtapes, EPs and full-lengths to his name, last year saw the release of the Bay Area artists’s first major label release These Things Happen, a telling and often biographical full-length that not only brought G-Eazy out of the realms of the internet, but reached number one on various charts, as well as hitting number three on the Billboard 200. Providing supporting duties this fall, LA-based duo Alex Steins and Austin Hains, otherwise known as Styles & Complete, will be joining Borgore on his upcoming tour. After unveiling his “Gangsta Shit” single of the same name, acclaimed trap / bass producer Dan Farber is back flexxin’ his hip-hop production prowess with his G-House concept opus, the Gangsta Shit EP. His innate ability to texturize his tracks with groove-oriented basslines and retro ear-candy jingles no doubt comes from his genuine love for the rap game. The 4-track offering is an assemblage of melodic, West Coast G-Funk inspired synth patterns, carefully layered with hip-hop one-liners and sinister bass lines.

Bunji Garlin gives more insight behind the collaboration."We recorded this song at Gong's studio in Florida. It was a 4 a.m. studio session after we spent about an hour and a half just talking and getting a vibe off of each other's knowledge, views and energies. I appreciate the project and artist because we were able to let both our musical backgrounds work for us to execute this. It is almost a fable to see the son of reggae legend and also a legend in his own right and artist of the soca genre meld so effortlessly."

Having studied for a long period the sounds of nature and the ancient instruments of his homeland, and after an even longer period being in the studio working along with all these sounds, Bassassin brings two anthems of the Colombian-tribal-indigenous style. “Revolt Sierra” combines the sounds of gaitas, tamboras, and nature ambience with twisted synths and rolling drums, a dark kind of sound that reflects the hard times that nature is going through. On the other side, “Like Water" is a song full of bird twitters, crickets chirping, and waterfalls sounds mixed with smooth but powerful tech vibes that help us remember that nature will always be resilient.

Dj`s y Productores dedicados al genero se concentran en crear experiencias de otro mundo para sus oyentes, y en esta ocasión varios artistas de distintas partes del mundo se han reunido junto al sello disquero colombiano Mas Bass Records lanzando en un compilado un grito de fusión y convergencia entre el viejo y el nuevo continente.
Desde su nombre hasta su carátula, este disco refleja resistencia dentro de una sociedad autoritaria que cada día ensancha la barrera entre clases sociales y la música se convierte en un escape al rigor cotidiano y permite a los artistas aquí presentes expresarse libremente ante los parámetros de segmentación musical que nos impone la cultura pop.
Este compilado estará disponible en todas las plataformas digitales, y con algunas copias para los melómanos y coleccionistas en formato Vinilo de 12”, con lo cual +Bass Records quiere dar un avance y aporte para el genero y la Cultura Drum and Bass creciente dentro de artistas emergentes y oyentes en todo Latinoamérica.

Incursionó en la música a temprana edad aprendiendo basses de guitarra clásica y contemporánea. Luego conformó varios proyectos de hardcore y punk experimental en los cuales interpreta la guitarra melódica y acompaña con voces guturales en los coros. Durante todo este proceso de sensibilizacion musical, entrenamiento auditivo y adicción al ritmo, siempre sintió que el DRUM N BASS era la pieza faltante en su rompecabezas, razón por la cual en todos sus proyectos se ven involucrados los ritmos rotos y bajos gruesos, y a principios del 2008 entra a recibir formación académica en la parte de producción y mezcla musical con el animo de generar un sonido de alta calidad y en solitario, dedicándose enteramente al DNB.
