I was going down the rabbit hole and saw this was for free DL, How do I get it? I still have my vinyl but would love a digital copy

this is the second mix in a series 'trust me i was there' - the music in this mix is what was getting played in the places with a more relaxed door policy (places that would let in 15-16 year olds) and on the london pirate dance radio stations in 1988.

one thing i find interesting about this year (as a producer) is the contrast between the really raw acid stuff and the super slick vocal tracks - one of which was exec produced by quincy jones no less!!

bubbling LA Acid throwback: Year: 1996 - Label: Bassex - Track: 'Hold Your Wig' by Metro LA (Mike 'Xpando' Knapp and dj Eric Davenport).  I'd done this remix with ancient gear - it was flawed and the timing drifted in an unfriendly manner - Despite all that i recently locked the drift, stripped it lean to 3:30 minutes, and started dropping it in sets again.
 For you now is that edit at 320k. xx

We dedicated this show to our friend, Radio 1 colleague, DJ and great person Michal aka Myclick. It's a great loss to the whole community here. The track Sky Walking is one of many we discovered thanks to him. 
As fate would have it, we played another memory at the end of the show. The man who shaped breakbeat especially in its early days has gone up there too. Jonathan Saul Kane aka Depth Charge was a pioneer of big beat/breaks and influenced many later famous producers. 
Gentlemen, thank you, your legacy will stay with us.
