Leicester’s Tenshu has his own bass that can make you bounce, and ‘Bodied’, the four track EP, that is Wang records’ debut release, is unneeded evidence of it. The up-coming Midlands producer turns heads by energising bassline in a forward-thinking scope.

First track ‘Alive’ is club-ready and dark; brooding with bass. Lead track ‘Bodied’ falls from a powerful place straight through into to a dirty, gritty one – a banger that literally bodies. And ‘Difference’ again shows us Tenshu’s attention to detail when creating a bassline sound that looks forward into the future and ‘Listen’ stands out as a more progressive, leftfield-bass/techno inspired vibe. As a producer and DJ, Bristol’s @Nuaspect needs no introduction, having amassed fearsome appearances as both a DJ and producer on CruCast and Rinse.FM in the last few months. His track for our long awaited Bass Invaders compilation goes by the name of ‘Hunters’ and is a straight bass roller, which in its creation has the capability to turn any dance to a zoo. We are greeted across the introduction with a bag of spacey atmospherics and distant bass tones, which proceed to take the lead as we hit the gargantuan drop, shaking the ground beneath our feet with it’s monstrous bass designs.

We introduced @NuBassofficial via our @NightBassRecords Freshmen Vol 1 and now we’re thrilled to debut his “Fuego” EP, a hearty 4-tracker that’s sure to bring on the heat. The driving, dark 4x4 bassline on his title track “Fuego” sets the tone for one bass-heavy EP. His collaboration with @HotGoodsUK on the next track “Dead Prez” offers some inspiring subliminal vocals and his 3rd track featuring @PVCukmusic brings an up-tempo garage-tinged beat. The EP is rounded off by “Trippin’,” bringing a nice dark edge followed by a ferocious drop.
