L'Étranger is the French-House alias of Liverpool-born Songwriter and Producer Ben Thomas. Over the past decade he’s released records under several aliases and remixed artists such as Guillemots, Stornoway, Mark Redito, AaRON & Sam Lee. As he resurrected L’Étranger on Big Dope P’s Moveltraxx imprint, Thomas has continued his work across genres such as Jersey Club to Jazz Fusion, House to Hip-hop, Indie to R&B and beyond. 

His newest EP features Berlin-based singer Sedric Perry, PC Music affiliate Dreamtrak, and Welsh House don dJJ. Earlier this year, L’Étranger collaborated with Jersey Club legend DJ Jayhood, and his new single “Let Go” is out next month on Moveltraxx.

“Over the past couple of years I’ve fallen back in love with House music, which was one of the main reasons I decided to start releasing music as L’Étranger again. I think this mix is a reflection of me rediscovering my roots in House, with a nod to genres such as Jersey Club and Garage that have influenced me along the way.”
