A seemingly relentless flow of creative activity continues for Yousef in 2013.

An endless global touring schedule, showing the world his authentic, and live 3 deck Djing dexterity, a man at ease in front on 10000 people, as he is 100. Ibiza to Indonesia, Argentina to America, South Africa to South Korea, few corners have been untouched this in 2013.

As well as new music on forthcoming Loco Dice's impressive Desolat imprint, this year Yousef has released music on Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, Defected, remixing Carl Cox, and gravitating his own Circus Recordings to a remarkable level by releasing this years biggest underground track, Green Velvets "Bigger Than Prince".

Yousef’s collaboration with The Angel, the anthemic "Float Away" released on FFRR/Warners/Big Beat Records was this summers Ibiza hidden treasure and is still simmering

3 Yousef singles for Defected appeared in the last year, “Think Twice”, "I See" (ADE week Buzz Chart #1) and of course “Beg” which sat at the top of the Beatport charts for 10 weeks.

His record label Circus Recordings continues to spread its message of the best in underground house and techno at an alarming rate, signing heroes like Reboot, Carl Cox, Green Velvet and re surfacing the super talented Harry Romero, as well as developing fresh names like Acid Mondays, David Glass and Horatio, building a strong platform for Yousef’s own music.

Here Yousef’s is back on the dance floor with 3 cuts that have been turning heads all summer long.

'Believe in Love' features the legendary vocal of Roy Davis Jr who once again, asks the world a poignant question. A rolling, infectious and gnarly groove develops and unfolds into a long and harmonic breakdown, and then of course a blistering crescendo. Designed to be for the heads but still enough action for the people that follow Yousef’s more musically trickier offerings.

'Just a Beat' in exactly that. Yousef busts out a stripped back boogie bass over tight drums and oddball acid. No messing around, heads down, hands up.

'What is Revolution' is taken within an inch of its life by Circus label mates Acid Mondays. Remixing one of the stand out cuts from Yousef’s recent “a product of your environment’ artist album, the Mondays show how to bring authentic house music into the 21st century.

After his very successful remix of ‘Slip Away’ on Noir Music we are extremely delighted to release this incredible EP from Olivier Giacomotto. Paris based Giacomotto is no new name to the scene but he has hit a sweet spot on Noir Music with his recent productions and this ‘Postgalactic’ EP might be his best effort to date. All four tracks move in the same universe but show Giacomotto from melodic to the more minimal sound. It’s been ages since we've heard such a solid effort from one artist and we have been all smiles here since Giacomotto decided to shower Noir Music with his great productions. No more praising words; let the music do the talking.

Hot Creations call upon VIVa boss Steve Lawler for their next release, rounding 2014 off with a bang - an amazing year for the leading label. With such a widespread knowledge of music and the industry, here Lawler gives us a musical education. ‘House Record’ is a dose of old school 80s house injected with a modern twist with ‘City Nights’ following suit on the B-side. There is no doubt both tracks will dominate the dance floor at peak time, capturing each heart with their infectious bouncing bass-lines, pacey percussions and all round feel good energy. 2 true talents put their minds together and give us this excellent 2-tracker. Beautiful Place is the melodic and dark track that picks up nicely from Olivier Giacomotto's recent success “Bipolar Star”. Reckless is pure club heaven with its straight up and relentless groove. Classic floor functional stuff to keep the dancefloor's burning.

Having established themselves within the global DJ circuit, label founder, producer and DJ Oliver Koletzki and his protégé Niko Schwind now team up for a floor-focussed live-project: Koletzki & Schwind. To be released on Koletzki’s own Stil vor Talent, ‘She Wants Acid’, their maiden collaboration, takes no prisoners. Here's the full premiere of one of its key tracks, 'Fake Return'. 

During DGTL Festival, Koletzki & Schwind will show their collaboration in full force as they will be playing live at Sunday's (April) Audio Stage. They will share the stage that day with such artists as Oliver Schories and Miss Melera.

Ahead of his highly anticipated self-titled debut album, Noir drops three new interpretations of album cut ‘Glass’, alongside Symbol, a singer songwriter producer from the Maryland/DC indie scene and one half of the Baltimore underground pop group Claire Hux. The package includes a remix from Reset Robot as well as new interpretations from Noir himself, all of which are distinct from the original album.
  
The Raw Club Cut offsets Symbol’s delicate vocal against a powerful, acid-flecked bassline that simmers patiently for the track’s duration, creating a tense tech-house thumper that crescendos beautifully with the addition of haunting strings and clattering snares. Reset Robot heads to darker territory, with a rolling bassline and moody stabs leading the way, while looped refrains of the vocal shimmer in the impending gloom. Tougher still is the Broken Glass Techno Dub. As the name suggests, this is pounding techno of the very highest order, with the distinct melody of the original all but replaced with rubbery, thunderous drums and scything synthetic stabs.

This time it ́s produced by Carsten Rausch from Berlin.

Carsten is a longtime friend of the label heads Ferri (Superlover) & Christoph (Click | Click) and knows label from its beginning. Now it ́s time for his own debut EP ‘Rewind The Tape’ on Kassette.

He produced three strong, very groovy and Garage influenced Jackin’ House tunes. 
As a bonus Carsten ́s ex-roommate Niko Schwind (Stil vor Talent) contributes a superb peak-time ‘Tech House version’ of the second track Glue!

While being astutely present Let Go is Yousef's own tribute to his early years as a DJ and producer, a throwback to his Chicago influence. As the vocal proceeds and controls the track, a looping bass hook and gnarly rhythm refuse to relent. The track rides on through a gentler, more musically delicate zone before the necessary crescendo demands that the listener adheres to the title…   


In his 3rd artist album, Yousef elegantly marries an ongoing desire to labour dance floors with an unquenchable thirst to exhibit the range of musical influences he’s developed in a 15-year career as a Dj and producer. 

Sticking with the 4/4 beat on this project, Yousef skilfully weaves through a variety of sophisticated electronic music. Sultry vocals sit next to Chicago rhythms, elevating moments couple up with cinematic techno, all relentlessly pulsating to the heart beat of authentic house. In The Process of Eight is an undertaking accomplished by someone who has dedicated their working life to the spirit of house music.

Produced, arranged and mixed by Yousef, the project invites a talented multitude of seasoned, fresh and even unknown artists, singers and beat makers to join him. Collaborations come from, Uner, Reboot, Bontan and the legendary Blakkat, with vocals from The Angel, soon to be discovered LA based jazz songstress Erica Thomson and Crosstown Rebels frequenter Kieran Fowkes, who appears on the first single taken from the album “Let Go”.


In The Process of Eight also includes two of Yousef’s iconic tracks “Come Home” and “Float Away”, amalgamating them along side his brand new compositions creating the producers most accomplished body of work to date.

Three singles from the album are penned for release in quick succession by mid summer 2015, followed by further music released on other world-class labels, Ellen Aliens ‘Bpitch Control’ and Dennis Ferrers ‘Objektivity’.
